ABOUT THE JOB:

The Loan Partner is responsible for assisting with mortgage loans during the initial application and pre-approval stages under various loan programs in accordance with policies and procedures, inputting necessary data into the Loan Origination System (Encompass), and Sales Database. Will communicate both orally and in writing with multiple parties in the transaction to keep them abreast on the status of their loan application. The Loan Partner will work very closely with our Loan Advisors to receive new loan applications, prepare and maintain our client’s documentation list, and obtain AUS approval. Packages the file for initial credit approval, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in the file.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Work closely with our Operations Team, Loan Advisors, and clients to obtain necessary documentation needed to make a credit decision, following up on missing items as needed

· Analyze the documents received for each file, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document, calculate income, and run Automated Underwriting

· Work closely with Loan Advisor to ensure quick responses to clients on their credit decision or pre-approval

· Set up loan applications and enter files/upload documents into Loan Origination System and Sales Database

· Track loan pipeline and update Sales Database

· Assist with clearing underwriting conditions

· Provide timely and periodic status updates to all parties in the transaction

· Provide general office support, answer phones, and great customer service

· Respond to all phone calls and emails timely

· Meet expectations for attendance, punctuality and scheduling

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· 1 year of mortgage industry experience required

· High School Diploma or GED

· Solid administrative and customer service experience

· Exceptional organization skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Detail and results oriented

· Ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced environment

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize

· Deadline driven and able to manage workflow

· Solid computer skills, fast typing skills, and ability to work in multiple programs

· Willingness to learn new skills

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
